Indonesia

The earthquake that struck Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in May 2006 occurred just a few months after my departure from the city, where I'd been studying Bahasa Indonesia. These photos are from travels through the eastern islands in the archipelago in Summer 2004 and from Central Java in Winter 2006.
